What a difference a year makes.
On March 21, 2012, A&E Network premiered the reality series "Duck Dynasty," profiling the Robertsons of Louisiana, who have made a tidy fortune from their company, Duck Commander, which manufactures handmade duck calls. Almost immediately, the saga of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson and his nearest and dearest - his wife, Korie; his parents, company founder Phil and Miss Kay; brothers Jase and Jep; and Phil's eccentric brother, Uncle Si - became a runaway hit.

In case you haven't noticed, this past offseason was very un-Yankeelike. Three key players -- right fielder Nick Swisher, closer Rafael Soriano and catcher Russell Martin -- were allowed to leave via free agency, a development brought about by GM Brian Cashman's desire to get the team payroll under $189 million in 2014 to avoid MLB's punitive luxury tax.
So in 2013, the team will go with Ichiro in right, a healed Mariano Rivera in the ninth and one of three possibilities -- veterans Francisco Cervelli and Chris Stewart and rookie Austin Romine -- behind the plate.

I made a mistake!
As much as we try to send off every issue of Satellite Direct as perfect as peach pie, our humanity gets in the way now and again and something is missed.
